Working From Home – Is It The New “Black”?

Working from home may seem to be the new fashion, but only if you haven’t tried working online, or even investigated the possability of it.

To work from home has been the dream of many people for years. It became much easier with computers, especially as technology advanced and they became smaller, more powerfull and cheeper.

Once the internet came along the dream became a possability for a select few. Their companies would set up the computers and networks so that these select few, who would’ve been at the top of their company hierachy, could work from home while still be connected to the companies computer system, just like they were in the next office.

Of course, it didn’t take long for some bright spark to see the possabilities, with more people having a personal computer at home, and an internet connection.

Since that time, litteraly hundreds of thousands of people have tried to make money working from home. Fortunes have been made and lost, then made again. Lots of people have become extremly rich from working online, although it would be impossable to find out the excact number. Even more people have done quite well, while maybe not becoming millionaires they have been able to quite their day job and work from home full time.

Most people made nothing, nadda, zilch, zero.

This could be for any number of reasons. They weren’t trained properly, they didn’t have the know-how, they didn’t put in the time or effort required to succeed, they spent themselves broke, the list goes on…

Working from home is not a new “fad”. People always want “easier”.

A pill to lose weight – easier than excercising.

A remote control – easier than getting up to change the channel’

A “Clapper” – easier than turning off a light switch.

Working from home – easier than going to the office.

That is why most people fail in this not-so-new-fad. Working from home is still work. You do still have to put in a great deal of time and effort into it. You need to learn all you can, then put what you have learned into effect. Then learn some more.

If you decided to work for yourself, buy a little franchise, maybe employ a few people, do you think you can then take it easy? Hell no, you would have to work your ass off if you wanted to succeed. The same goes for working from home. You are still working for yourself, it is still your business, the only difference is the start up costs are a whole lot less.

The idea of working from home is not “new”. Todays technolodgy, and the internet, just make this idea more of a possability, even a reality for thousands of people every year.

If this is your dream and you want to make it a successfull reality, make sure you investigate any opportunities before joining up with them.
