With a failure rate of around 97%, there are a great many people who get disillusioned with Network Marketing because they failed, they didn’t make any money, and the promises of six figure incomes didn’t come to fruition.
Basically 97 out of every 100 people who join a Network Marketing company lose money. How many thousands of people join up every year, do you think? Tens of thousands? Hundreds of thousands? More? Or somewhere in between?
All these Network Marketers out there trying to recruit and earn some money, and most give up after a few months, or maybe a year. They become disillusioned, believe they’ve been scammed, lied to, ripped off. That is also a great many people who have proved they are willing to spend money on trying to earn an online income. They are a Network Marketers target customer. They are interested in working from home and have proved they are willing to spend money to make a dream come true.
So what is the Big Shocking Lie – Firstly I would like to point out that this lie is not really perpetrated by Network Marketers, It is by some Network Companies, it is on their landing pages that their marketers direct you to – the Big Shocking Lie is
It is Not Your Fault
They are trying to convince all those people who failed that their failure is not their fault. Furthermore, “they have a great system where it is almost impossible to fail, so join up, you will get rich with us”.
What a lot of baloney. They are trying to convince you that you did nothing wrong, it was the system that failed. The truth is, and anyone who has been through Mike Dillards Magnetic Sponsoring will know this;
Yes, it is your fault.
I’m sorry if that upsets you, but you must take responsibility for your own actions. You either didn’t know enough, or didn’t do enough!
If you did not know enough, well then, learn more. Find out what you need to know; don’t just take the word of the person trying to recruit you. It is called due diligence – you must do it.
If you didn’t do enough, that is easy to fix – do more.
The problem is, because there is no huge start-up cost, no renting office space, no begging the banks for huge sums of money, people don’t treat their home business like a business, they treat it like a hobby.
If you treat your business like a hobby, it will pay you like a hobby.
When is the last time your train sets made you money?, or your collection of unusual shaped coffee mugs?, or your ant farm?
Hobbies cost money, they don’t make it.
