There is an old saying – Find a job you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.
That’s fortunate if you are in Network Marketing and love it because otherwise it can be hard work – if you do it right.
The right way to do Network Marketing is not to place advertisements, classifieds, or even videos on You tube – the right way is to add value.
How do you add value? You ask. And who too?
How you add value is research. You need to read. Books, articles, blogs, forums, go to the local library, or the bookstore, read the marketing section of the local paper.
To whom do you add value? Anyone who wants it, and is looking for it. Be free with what you have learnt.
To succeed in Network Marketing is to have people join you. Not whatever business opportunity you might be in at the moment, not the next, newest, biggest whiz-bang opportunity that opens up.
People join people, not opportunities. More importantly, they join people they can look up to. They’re not going to join someone who is full of b.s. If you try to fake knowing what you are talking about, they will be able to tell. People will only join you if they see you as someone who knows what they are talking about, someone who they can learn from.
When you are searching for information about Network Marketing, you will come across a great deal of free information. That is other people adding value, much of this will be great information, some of it will not. This will be from the pretenders, see how easy it is to tell when someone is faking it.
Do not look for the “tell all” book. It does not exist. You cannot get all your information from one book. In all likely hood you may have to buy a few books on the subject, at least until you’ve put what you have learned into practice, earnt a few bucks and can afford to buy a few more books.
I’m sorry to tell you, but if you want to be successful, the learning never ends.
In all likely hood some of the books and information you buy you will consider not worth the time and money, unfortunately you will not know that until after you have paid your money.
Some of the best advice I received, “The only courses worth going on and the only products worth buying are those that you find interesting and those that deliver you some intellectual value without the need for financial deliverance”
So I hope you love Network Marketing, it will make your success a lot easier.
