Yeah I know, I need a haircut
Hi there and welcome.
I started trying to earn an online income at the beginning of 2009.
Yes, I got sucked in by all those “Make 6 Figures From Home” and “Fire Your Boss” ads that you see all over the ‘net.
Like most people, I said – yes, I would like to earn more money than I would ever earn working for someone else, and yes, I would like to be able t6o do it working from home, or the beach, a cafe or even the French Riviera.
The result… I joined a company (I didn’t know their name or what they did before I joined because they weren’t allowed to tell me). It was an mlm (multi level marketing) company and you profit by getting other people to join up, and hoping I would earn enough to at least cover the monthly fees to this company.
I didn’t.
So after about 12 months I”d had enough. I couldn’t afford to pay the fees, plus other costs. So I quit that company. I was amazed at how much better I felt. All the stress of trying to earn any money at all, and all the heartache I felt at not being successful were gone.
That’s when I discovered Affiliate Marketing. This e-book (or check it out on the Recomended page) is the only one I have actually printed out after downloading, all 210 pages.
Life’s been a lot simpler ever since. I don’t feel so stressed about having to make a dime. I can choose to promote only the products that I believe in and trust. Things that I would, and for the most part already have, purchased myself.
The word “newbi” is thrown around alot, but even when I first started I never liked that word, it didn’t seem to fit.
On a post one day I saw the term “smart beginner”. That definately did fit.
If you would like to be successful online, don’t be a newbi, be a Smart Beginner. I’m doing all that I can to learn what I need to know to succeed. Even after I have succeeded in becoming a very successful “home buiness owner” I still expect that I will always be learning something new.
